Jeffrey Hatcher is an American playwright and screenwriter, best known for his Broadway play Never Gonna Die (Broadhurst Theatre). Off-Broadway plays include Ten Chimneys (Theatre at St. Clement’s), Standing On Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays and Tuesdays with Morrie (Minetta Lane Theatre), A Picasso and Three Viewings (N.Y.C. Center Stage), The Turn of the Screw and Scotland Road (Primary Stages), and Neddy (American Place Theatre). Regionally produced plays include Work Song (Milwaukee Repertory), Compleat Female Stage Beauty (Philadelphia Theatre), Ella—Off the Record (TheaterWorks Hartford), Everything's Ducky and Murderers (Cincinnati Playhouse), Louder Faster (City Theatre), Lucky Ducky (South Coast Repertory), Lucky Stiff (Odyssey Theatre), Mercy of a Storm (Florida Stages), Mrs. Mannerly (Alley Theatre), Murder by Poe (Meadow Brook Theatre), Smash (Bob  Hope Theatre), and Sockdology (Marin Theatre).
