UCLA Parking Changes

Beginning January 2020, L.A. Theatre Works will no longer have parking attendants taking payment in front of Parking Structure 3.  If you’ve attended one of our UCLA shows before then you’re already familiar with using the pay kiosk system. If you haven’t already, please take the time to read the following instructions.

It is now necessary to park in the numbered pay-by-plate parking spots. You will be required to enter your license plate number at the pay kiosk. Once your plate is entered at the kiosk it is NOT necessary to put the receipt in your car. Please make sure that you park in the numbered spots for pay-by-plate parking and not the permitted spots.

We suggest you write down your license plate in advance so you have it with you when you get to the kiosk. The pay kiosk on the ground floor of Parking Structure 3 is located to the right of the tunnel that leads to the theater.  You can also download the UCLA Park Mobile app and pay on your phone.  The link to the app is at:

In addition to the usual permit parking entrance ("A" on above map) there is a visitor parking entrance ("B" on above map) closer to Hilgard Ave. This lot contains more parking kiosks so that you can avoid any potential lines. This part of the structure is slightly farther from the theater but still inside Parking Structure 3.

We suggest you pay for the entire day to ensure you have plenty of time - it's the same price as paying for three hours - $8 on the weekends or after 4:30pm.
