Tate Donovan is an American actor and director, best known for Argo, Shooter, Hercules, and Good Night, Good Luck. Other film credits include Elvis & Nixon, Manchester by the Sea, Sun Belt Express, Argo, Shooter, The Visitor, Neal Cassady, Swordfish, Memphis Belle, Clean and Sober, and SpaceCamp.

Television credits include Tom Shayes on FX's Damages, Jimmy Cooper on WB's The O.C., Joshua Burgin on NBC's Friends, and Mark Boudreau in the FOX miniseries, 24: Live Another Day.

Theatre credits include his Broadway debut as in Alan Seymour in Picnic (Criterion Center Stage), Mike in Good People (Samuel J. Friedman Theatre), and Dominic Tyghe in Amy’s View (Ethel Barrymore Theatre); Off-Broadway, as Sir Alfred in Medieval Play (Irene Diamond Stage), Bill in Lobby Hero (John Houseman Theatre), and Nick Lockridge in The American Plan (N.Y.C. Center Stage); and regionally, as Felix Turner in Normal Heart and Howie in Rabbit Hole (Geffen Playhouse).
