Multi-hyphenate actor, producer, writer, and director, Sarah Drew is best known for playing ‘Dr. April Kepner’ for nine seasons on the hit ABC series Grey’s Anatomy, the WB’s Everwood and MTV’s Daria. She currently stars in the Apple TV+ series Amber Brown written, directed, and produced by Bonnie Hunt. Sarah recently signed a two-picture deal with Lifetime to write, produce, and star in holiday movies. The first feature, Reindeer Games Homecoming, was released in November and is Sarah’s writing debut and second producing project.  Other TV credits include the award-winning AMC series Mad Men as ‘Kitty Romano,’ and last year's Freeform hit Cruel Summer. She made her directorial debut in Grey’s Anatomy: B-Team the Webisodes which was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Awards for an Outstanding Short Form Comedy or Drama Series in 2018. In film, some notable projects include Columbia Picture’s Radio alongside Ed Harris and Cuba Gooding Jr. as well as the lead in the hit Sony comedy Moms’ Night Out alongside Patricia Heaton. She began producing with Indivisible, in which she starred alongside Tia Mowry-Hardrict. Theater credits include her Broadway and West Ed debut as ‘Eugenie Loyer’ in Vincent in Brixton (John Golden Theater/The Ambassador Theatre Group), and regionally as ‘Ellie Dunn’ in Heartbreak House (Berkshire Theater Festival), ‘Emily Imbrie’ in Third (Geffen Playhouse), and ‘Juliet’ in Romeo and Juliet (McCarter Theatre). She resides in Los Angeles with her husband Peter, and children Micah and Hannah.
