
Rufus Sewell is an acclaimed film, television, and stage actor, who has been nominated for Emmy, Tony, and Olivier Awards throughout his career. Most recently, Rufus wrapped production on Netflix’s highly anticipated feature film, Scoop, in which he transforms into ‘Prince Andrew’ opposite Gillian Anderson, Keeley Hawes, and Billie Piper – directed by The Crown’s Philip Martin. He can now be seen starring opposite Keri Russell in Netflix’s drama series The Diplomat, for which he is currently in production on a second season. Prior to this, Rufus was seen starring in Netflix’s series Kaleidoscope, M. Night Shyamalan's Old, and in Florian Zeller’s Academy Award winning feature, The Father, alongside Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman. Additionally, Rufus starred as ‘Sidney Luft’ in Rupert Goold’s Academy Award winning feature Judy starring Renee Zellweger. Rufus completed four seasons of the hugely successful Amazon show The Man in The High Castle, and featured in the second season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, in which he received a 2019 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. Sewell first gained attention on screen for his performance as ‘Will Ladislaw’ in the BBC adaptation of Middlemarch.
