Roscoe Lee Browne was an African-American actor and director, known for his rich voice and dignified bearing. Film credits include Treasure Planet, Babe, Oliver & Company, Twilight’s Last Gleaming, Logan’s Run, The Cowboys, The Ra Expeditions, The Liberation of L.B. Jones, Uptight, Black Like Me, and The Connection.

Broadway credits include his debut as Royal Baron in The Cool World (Eugene O’Neill Theatre); Holloway in Two Trains Running (Walter Kerr Theatre); Right Reverend J.D.
