Richard Easton is a Canadian actor, best known as Brian Hammond on BBC’s The Brothers. Other television credits include Captain Stapley on BBC’s Doctor Who, Richard Carter on ITV’s Chintz, and Benjamin Franklin in the PBS miniseries, Benjamin Franklin.

Film credits include The 50 Year Argument, Revolutionary Road, It’s About Time, Stealing Martin Lane, Finding Forrester, Dead Again, and Henry V.

Broadway theatre credits include his debut as Claudio in Measure for Measure, Delio in The Duchess of Malfi, and Lucentio in The Taming of the Shrew (Phoenix Theatre), Duncan in Macbeth, Sir Anthony Absolute in The Rivals, and King Henry IV in Henry IV (Vivian Beaumont Theatre), Claudius in Hamlet, Alceste in The Misanthrope, and Trofimov/Petr Sergeyevich in The Cherry Orchard (Lyceum Theatre), Alfons Jorgensen in Elling (Ethel Barrymore Theatre), Charles Surface in The School for Scandal (Majestic Theatre), and Mr. Harcourt in The Country Wife (Adelphi/Henry Miller’s Theatres).
