Randy Oglesby began his career in the Theatre Department of The University of Virginia, studied with Julie Bovasso in New York, then attended the advanced training program of The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, where he also spent five years as a member of the acting company. He has performed in over one hundred plays at such theatres as The Mark Taper Forum, The Globe in San Diego, The Denver Center, The Intiman in Seattle, The Kennedy Center and South Coast Repertory Theatre.
He appeared in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Kentucky Cycle from its workshop beginning through its run on Broadway. He also originated the role of Nick in Sight Unseen in its premiere at South Coast Repertory.
Mr. Oglesby has numerous film and television credits including Bringing Down the House with Steve Martin and Joan Plowright, and a recurring character on Mr. Sterling for NBC.
