Nicolas Sandys is a stage actor. Favorite roles include Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew, Benedict in Much Ado About Nothing, Hotspur in Henry IV, Charles Condomine in Blithe Spirit and Jack Worthing in The Importance of Being Earnest. He has appeared at Fort Worth Shakespeare in the Park, Stage West, Madison Repertory, Northern Stage, Dallas Theater Center, Virginia Shakespeare Festival, Long Wharf Theater, Westbeth Theater Center (Off-Broadway), Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s Royal Albert Hall.
He has directed productions of Much Ado About Nothing and Merry Wives of Windsor. He is also a Fight Director and Certiﬁed Teacher with the Society of American Flght Directors, and has directed stage combat at Lyric Opera Chicago and the Goodman Theatre School.
