She is known for portraying her Emmy Award-winning role, Loretta Haggers, on TAT’s Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Other television credits include Dr. Ann Killigrew on HBO’s Getting On, Adaleen Grant on HBO’s Big Love, Kathryn Joiner on HBO’s Bored to Death, Surgeon General Millicent Griffith on NBC’s The West Wing, Camille Cherski on ABC’s My So-Called Life, and Prue Giroux in the Showtime miniseries, Further Tales of the City.
