Mary Bond Davis is an American singer, actor, and dancer. She is best known for New York Minute, The Preacher’s Wife, Hook, and Coming to America. Other film credits include Romance & Cigarettes, Stage on Screen: The Women, Jeffrey, The Art of Dying, Piece of Cake, and Jo Jo Dancer, Your Life Is Calling.

Theatre credits include her Broadway debut as Lois T. Wershafter/Others in Mail (Music Box Theatre), Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray (Neil Simon Theatre), Maggie in The Women (American Airlines Theatre), Prisoner #3 in Marie Christine (Vivian Beaumont Theatre), ‘da Singer in Bring in ‘Da Noise, Bring in ‘Da Funk (Ambassador Theatre), Teen Angel in Grease (Eugene O’Neill Theatre), and Miss Mamie/Others in Jelly’s Last Jam (Virginia Theatre); Off-Broadway, as Nemine in Scapin (Laura Pels Theatre) and Miss Goldberg in In Trousers (Promenade Theatre); and regionally, as Daughter of Joy Violetta in Best of Both Worlds (American Repertory).
