Lindsay Crouse is an American actress, known for Mr. Brooks, The Insider, The Arrival, and House of Games. Other film credits include Cherish, Prefontaine, Bye Bye Love, Lemon Sky, Places in the Heart, Daniel, The Verdict, Prince of the City, Slap Shot, Between the Lines, and All the President’s Men.

Theatre credits include her Broadway debut as Hero/Townsperson in Much Ado About Nothing (Winter Garden Theatre) and Ruth in The Homecoming (Criterion Center Stage); and Off-Broadway, as Miss A. in Prairie du Chien and The Shawl (Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater), Mary in Serenading Louie and Shelly in Fishing (Newman Theatre), Queen of King Richard in Richard II (Entermedia Theatre), Ada in Childe Byron, Viola in Twelfth Night, Ophelia in Hamlet, Wife in The Sanctity of Marriage, Daughter in Dark Pony, and Carol Mindler in Reunion (Circle Theatre), and Marie in The Foursome (Astor Place Theatre).
