Lawrence Grimm

Lawrence Grimm is an actor, writer, and teaching artist based in Chicago. He is also founding member of the Red Orchid Theatre.

Theatre credits include Antonio in The Tempest (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); the Men in My Name is Asher Lev (TimeLine Theatre); Michael in Solstice, Trevor in Trevor, Lieutenant Thomas Keefer in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, and Isaac Newton in The Physicists (Red Orchid Theatre); Mark in The Upstairs Concierge (Goodman Theatre); Mr. Daldry in In the Next Room (or the vibrator play) (Victory Gardens Theater); Queen Elizabeth/Others in Orlando (Court Theatre); Mick in Ourselves Alone (Open Fist Theatre); Smerdyakov in The Brothers Karamazov (Lookingglass Theatre); Allie Burgess in A Fair Country and Warren in Wolf Lullaby (Steppenwolf Theatre); Edmund in King Lear (Piven Theatre); and Biff Loman in Death of a Salesman and his JEFF Award-winning performance as the Gentleman Caller in The Glass Menagerie (Raven Theatre).
