Laurence Fishburne

Laurence Fishburne is an American actor, playwright, director, and producer, best known for Mystic River, The Matrix/Reloaded/Revolution, Event Horizons, Boyz n the Hood, and Apocalypse Now. Other film credits include Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Rudderless, Man of Steel, Black Water Transit, Akeelah and the Bee, Bobby, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Mystic River, Othello, Searching for Bobby Fischer, What’s Love Got to Do With It, King of New York, The Color Purple, and Rumble Fish.

Television includes Pops on ABC’s Black-ish, Jack Crawford on NBC’s Hannibal, Dr. Raymond Langston on CBS’ CSI, and Cowboy Curtis on CBS’ Pee-wee’s Playhouse.

Theatre credits include his Broadway debut as Sterling in Two Trains Running (Walter Kerr Theatre), Thurgood Marshall in Thurgood (Booth Theatre), Henry II in The Lion in Winter (Criterion Center Stage); and Off-Broadway, as Mike Leon in Riff Raff (Circle in the Square Theatre) and Doug in Loose Ends (McGinn-Cazale Theatre).
