Kathleen Turner is an American film and stage actress and director.
Film credits include Body Heat, Romancing the Stone and Prizzi's Honor, the latter two earning her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. Kathleen went on to have roles in The Accidental Tourist, The War of the Roses, Serial Mom and Peggy Sue Got Married, for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Her extensive film credits also include The Man with Two Brains, Jewel of the Nile, The Accidental Tourist, V.I. Warshawski, Serial Mom, Naked in New York, Moonlight and Valentino, The Real Blonde and The Virgin Suicides.
Kathleen has been nominated for the Tony Award twice for her Broadway roles as Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and as Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Other theater credits include her Off-Broadway debut, Mister T and her Broadway debut, Gemini.
