Julie Marie Myatt

Julie Marie Myatt is an American playwright whose work has been performed in Los Angeles, Louisville, Minneapolis, and New York. A former ensemble member of Cornerstone Theater Company, Myatt has received a Screenwriting Fellowship (Walt Disney Studios), a Jerome Fellowship (Playwrights' Center), a McKnight Advancement Grant, and was a participant in the New Play Project (Guthrie Theater).

Produced plays include Someday (Cornerstone Theatre), Opium Den (Steppenwolf Theatre), Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter (Oregon Shakespeare Festival), My Wandering Boy and The Happy Ones, winner of LADCC's Ted Schmitt Award (South Coast Repertory), Zealot, The Joy of Having a Body, and Boats on a River (Guthrie Theater), Flooded (Denver Center Theatre), Mr. and Mrs. (Humana Festival), Phobophobia (Actors Theatre of Louisville), Cowbird (New Ground Theatre), Hell Leaves Odessa (Echo Theater), and Sex Habits of American Women (Magic Theatre)
