Joao de Sousa appeared with Lifeline Theatre as Kester Woodseaves in their production of Precious Bane. He performed in City Lit's Thank You Jeeves. Joao's Chicago work includes Henry V at Next Theater and Agamemnon, The Maid's Tragedy and Roberto Zucco at E.R.C.

He has performed extensively in New York, D.C., England, and in European and international tours. He also has participated in numerous projects for NPR.
