Jason Robards was an Emmy and two-time Academy Award-winning American actor of stage, film, and television. He was best known for Philadelphia, The Day After, All The President’s Men, and Once Upon a Time in the West. Other film credits include Magnolia, Enemy of the State, Crimson Tide, Parenthood, Julia, Johnny Got His Gun, Tora! Tora! Tora!, and Isadora.

Broadway theatre credits include his Tony Award-winning portrayal of Manley Halliday in The Disenchanted (Coronet Theatre); Jacob Brackish in Park Your Car in Harvard Yard (Music Box Theatre); Martin Vanderhof in You Can’t Take It With You (Plymouth/Royale Theatres); Quentin in After the Fall and William Baker in Big Fish, Little Fish (ANTA Playhouse); Murray Burns in A Thousand Clowns (Eugene O’Neill Theatre); Julian Berniers in Toys in the Attic (Hudson Theatre); and his Theatre World Award-winning debut role as James Tyrone, Jr. in Long Day’s Journey Into Night (Helen Hayes Theatre).
