January is a New York City based theatre, television, and voice actress. She made her Broadway debut in ENRON, and has appeared Off-Broadway in Measure for Measure (TFANA), Wings (Second Stage), Coraline (MCC), Two Trains Running, Home, Funnyhouse of a Negro, and Wakey, Wakey (Signature Theatre). Regional theatre credits include: Joe Turner’s Come and Gone (Mark Taper Forum), Good People (Pittsburgh Public Theatre), A Streetcar Named Desire, Lobby Hero, The Merchant of Venice (Denver Center Theatre Company), Native Guard (Alliance Theatre) and Benny & Joon (Old Globe). She is best known on television for her role as Noelle Ortiz on “One Life to Live”. Her voiceover work includes many national commercial campaigns and over 200 audiobooks. She is a 16-time Audiofile Earphones Award winner, a 2017 SOVAS Award winner for Best Nonfiction Narration, was honored as Audiobook Narrator of the Year by Publishers’ Weekly in 2013, and has received a total of 10 Audie Award nominations, including wins in 2014 for her narration of Nicholas Sparks’ The Longest Ride, and in 2016 for her critically-acclaimed performance of Libba Bray’s #1 New York Times bestseller Lair of Dreams. www.januarylavoy.com.
