James Morrison is a filmmaker, playwright, poet, actor, and singer/songwriter, best known as Bill Buchanan on FOX's 24. Other television credits include Gordon Murphy on ABC's Revenge, John Morrissey on TNT's Hawthorne, William White on ABC's Private Practice, and Lieutenant Colonel Tyrus Cassius 'T.C.' McQueen on FOX's Space: Above and Beyond.

Film credits include Intersect, Praying for Rain, The Jazz Funeral, I Am I, Jarhead, Catch Me If You Can, The One, Shadows of the Past, Shadow of Doubt, and Unfinished Business.

Theatre credits include his Drama-Logue Award-winning roles as Brick in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (McCarter Theatre); John Pinder in El Salvador, also winning the LADCC Award (Gnu Theatre); and Serialkiller William Reach in Down the Road, also garnering the SDDCC Award (La Jolla Playhouse); Henry Percy in Richard II (Old Globe Theatre); and Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Alaska Repertory).
