Ian Barford is an American stage and television actor, best known for Special Agent Jonah Michaels on A&E’s The Beast, Janitor Herb/Mr. Cates on Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101, and Bill Moler on Lifetime’s Strong Medicine.

Theatre credits include his Broadway debut as Billy in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice (Neil Simon Theatre), Ed/Others in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Ethel Barrymore Theatre), and Little Charles in August: Osage County (Imperial/Music Box Theatres); Off-Broadway, as Harry in Love Song (59E59 Theater); and regionally, as Aviator in The Little Prince (Lookingglass Theatre), Stanley in The Birthday Party, Arly Wilcox in The March, Burns in Penelope, Ben in Detroit, Clov in Endgame, Walter Griffin in Up, and Reverend Samuel Parris in The Crucible (Steppenwolf Theatre), and Toddy Koovitz in Take Me Out, Hugo Taney in God’s Man in Texas, and Brendan in The Weir (Geffen Playhouse).
