Howard Shalwitz is an actor, director, teacher, and advocate for theater. He is the artistic director of Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company based in D.C. which he co-founded with Roger Brady and Linda Reinish. Shalwitz has directed several award-winning productions, including Stupid Fucking Bird and Clybourne Park by Bruce Norris. He’s also acted onstage in The Gigl Concert by Tom Murphy and Lenny & Lou by Ian Cohen.
