Glenne Headly is an American actress, best known for Don Juan, Mr. Holland’s OpusDirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Dick Tracy. Other film credits include The Namesake, The Burbs, The X Files, My Own Country, Winchell, Bastard Out of Carolina, Paperhouse, and And the Band Played On.

Television credits include Karen Stottlemeyer on USA’s Monk and Dr. Abby Keaton on NBC’s ER.

Theatre credits include her Broadway debut as Raina Petkoff in Arms and the Man (Circle in the Square Theatre) and Brenda Drexel in Fish in the Dark (Cort Theatre); Off-Broadway, as Eva White in The Jacksonian (Acorn Theatre), Ann in Balm in Gilead (Circle Repertory), her Theatre World Award-winning roles as Celia in The Philanthropist (Stage 73), and Terry in Extremities (Westside Theatre); and regionally, in her JEFF Award-winning roles as Popeye Jackson in The Miss Firecracker Contest, Penny in Coyote Ugly, and Catherine in Say Goodnight, Gracie (Steppenwolf Theatre).
