Fred Willard was an American actor, comedian, writer, and improvisational comedian. He was best known as Frank Dunphy on ABC’s Modern Family, Jack T. Walthall on Comedy Central’s Review, and John Forrester on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful. Other television credits include: Hank MacDougall on CBS’ Everybody Loves Raymond, Henry Vincent on NBC’s Mad About You, Scott on ABC’s Roseanne, and Vice Principal Mallet on ABC’s Family Matters.

Film credits include: All Stars, Max Rose, The Magic of Belle Isle, WALL-E, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, A Mighty Wind, Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, and This is Spinal Tap.

Theatre credits include: Off-Broadway, as Captain (Great Airplane) and Ralph (Arf) in Arf/The Great Airplane Snatch (Stage 73), Alfred Chamberlain in Little Murders (Circle in the Square), and The Return to the Second City in "20,000 Frozen Grenadiers" (Square East Theatre).
