Deanna Dunagan is a Tony Award-winning actress, best known for originating the role of Violet Weston in the Broadway production of August: Osage County (Imperial/Music Box Theatre). Other theatre credits include Ruth in Marvin’s Room (Shattered Globe Theatre); Maxine in Death Tax and M in The North China Lover (Lookingglass Theatre); Polly Wyeth in Other Desert Cities (Goodman Theatre); Madame Armfeldt in A Little Night Music (Writers’ Theatre); Sue-Ellen Gamadge in The Best Man and Claire in A Delicate Balance (Remy Bumppo Theatre); Margaret in I Never Sang For My Father (Steppenwolf Theatre); Abby in Desire Under The Elms (American Blues Theatre); and Aunt Julia Morkan in James Joyce’s The Dead (Court Theatre).
