David Zayas is a Puerto Rican actor. He is most known for his roles as Sergeant Angel Batista on Showtime's Dexter, Enrique Morales on HBO’s Oz, and Sal Maroni on FOX’s Gotham. Other television credits include Junior on FX’s Saint George and Rei Morales on UPN’s The Beat.

Film credits include The Wannabe, Annie, The Expendables, Shadowboxing, Michael Clayton, The Savages, 16 Blocks, The Interpreter, The Feast of the Goat, A Gentleman’s Game, The Yards, Bringing Out the Dead, Kingdom Come, Rounders, Stepmom, and Return to Paradise.

Theatre credits include his Broadway debut as Cheché in Anna in the Tropics (Royale Theatre); Off-Broadway, as Espinosa/Surgeon 2 in The Little Flower of East Orange (Martinson Hall); Edwin in Our Lady of 121st Street (Union Square Theatre); and Valdez in Jesus Hopped the “A” Train (Classic Stage); and regionally, as Mark in Thinner Than Water (Cherry Pit).
