David Tierney is a former actor and JD candidate at the UCLA School of Law. He holds an M.A. in Political Science and a B.A. (summa cum laude) in Multimedia, and has done web design, graphic design, and photography.
The bulk of his professsional career has been as an actor and sometimes director. He has performed with La Jolla Playhouse/Theatre de la Jeune Lune, the Sledgehammer Theatre, and Comedysportz (starting in Chicago), among others. He specialized in short-form comedy improvisation and ensemble-created experimental works (using mostly Anne Bogart's Viewpoints and Tadashi Suzuki's method) and is a fan of performing Shakespeare.
David is also a writer, and earned an honorable mention in the 55 Fiction contest. He was also a musician and played saxophone, trumpet, sousaphone, and accordion.
