David Schwimmer

David Schwimmer is an American actor, director, producer, and comedian, best known as Dr. Ross Gellar on the NBC Award-winning comedy series Friends. Other television credits include Robert Kardashian on FX’s American Crime Story, Newell L. Miller on Showtime’s Web Therapy, Josh '4B' Goldstein on ABC’s NYPD Blue, City Attorney Dana Romney on NBC’s L.A. Law, Michael on ABC’s The Wonder Years, and his Golden Satellite Award-winning role, Herbert M. Sobel, on HBO’s miniseries The Band of Brothers.

Film credits include Pretenders, The Iceman, Madagascar/Escape 2 Africa/3: Europe's Most Wanted, Nothing But the Truth, Big Nothing, Duane Hopwood, Six Days Seven Nights, Kissing a Fool, and Pallbearer.

Theatre credits include his Broadway debut as Lieutenant Barney Greenwald in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial (Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre); Off-Broadway, as Ben in Detroit (Playwrights Horizons); and regionally, as George Gibbs in Our Town (Lookingglass Theatre) and Jordan in Glimmer Brothers (Williamstown Theatre).
