David Downing

David Downing is an actor, best known for Cast a Deadly Spell, Meet the Raisins!, Ziegfeld: The Man and His Women, and Gordon's War. Other film credits include Circus Camp, Extreme Close-Up, Listen to Me, A Piano for Mrs. Cimino, Margin for Murder, Coming Attractions, Up the Sandbox, and Putney Swope. 

Television credits include Butler Dixon in the NBC miniseries, Backstairs at the White House. 

Theatre credits include his Broadway debut as the Boy in The Cool World (Eugene O'Neill Theatre) and Eddie in My Sister, My Sister (Little Theatre); and Off-Broadway, as Norwalk in Richard III (Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater), Macdaddy in The Great Macdaddy, Joseph Drayton in A Ballet Behind the Bridge, Wilbur Wittmer in Rosalee Pritchett, a Black Man in Perry's Mission, Jake in The Harangues, Tim Briscoe in Man Better Man, Bobby Parker in Ceremonies in Dark Old Men, and David in Daddy Goodness (St. Mark's Playhouse).
