Danielle Moné Truitt

Danielle Moné Truitt hails from Sacramento California and is best known for her leading role in the TV drama Rebel, produced by the late John Singleton. Danielle made history when she became the video reference actor for The Princess and the Frog; giving the princess her body movements, facial expressions and essence. She also voiced the character of 'Georgia' for the film. Truitt has been nominated for two Ovation Awards and an NAACP award for best actress in a play for her performance of 'Camae' in The Mountaintop and her performance in Dreamgirls. Danielle produced and starred in her one woman play 3 Black Girl Blues this summer. She is also directing the one man show Good Mourning, starring Hosea Chanchez.
