Barbara Bain

Barbara Bain is an American film and television actress, best known as Cinnamon Carter on CBS’ Mission: Impossible, becoming the first in history to receive three consecutive Emmy Awards for Best Dramatic Actress. Other television credits include Dr. Helena Russell on ITV’s Space: 1999, CBS' Tightrope and Karen Wells on CBS’/NBC’s Richard Diamond, Private Detective.

Film credits include Silver Skies, Political Disasters, Wake, American Gun, Panic, Bel Air, Gideon, Animals with the Tollkeeper, Trust Me, Tracey Ullman in the Trailer Tales, Destination Moonbase-Alpha, Alien Attack, Journey Through the Black Sun, A Summer Without Boys, and Goodnight, My Love.

Barbara is a Lifetime Member of the Actors Studio. Her stage appearances include Emily Stilson in Wings (Odyssey Theatre); Winnie in Happy Days (Los Angeles Theatre Center); Mary in Long Day’s Journey Into Night (Intiman Theatre); and the Old Woman in The Chairs (Stages Theatre Center).
