Annet Mahendru

Annet Mahendru was born in Afghanistan. She finished high school in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy at St. John's University. She also studied at the HB studio, The Groundlings and The Imagined Life. Annet is best known for her roleĀ on the Emmy nominated TV seriesĀ The Americans, which earned her a Critic's Choice Nomination. She was also presented with the Showbiz India's Trailblazer award, for an 'Emerging Leader' as a rising South Asian Female Actor in Hollywood. Theatre work includes the 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, Twelve Angry Jurors at the Underground Theatre, and Seven at LATW. She starred in the Sundance hit film Escape from Tomorrow, played the title role in Sally Pacholok, and appeared in Bridge and Tunnel, Love Gloria and Penguins of Madagascar. TV credits include The X-Files, Tyrant, The Following, Grey's Anatomy, White Collar and 2 Broke Girls.
