Angela Paton

Paton, Angela

Angela Paton was an American theatre, television, and film actress. She is known for her stage performances, and for her roles in comedy, drama, and thriller films, such as Mrs. Lancaster in Groundhog Day, Grandma in American Wedding, and Mrs. Holmes in Lolita. Other film credits include The Final Season, The Valley of Light, Red Eye, The United States of Leland, Joe Dirt, The Joyriders, The Wedding Singer, Eye for an Eye, Home for the Holidays, Blue Sky, Flatliners, and Dirty Harry.

Broadway credits include Angela's debut as Olga in The Three Sisters (ANTA Playhouse); Mrs. Ethel Chauvenet in Harvey (Studio 54); and Aggy in Passione (Morocco Theatre). Other theatre credits include Shirley Abramowitz in Coney Island Christmas (Geffen Playhouse); Philaminte in Les Femmes Savantes, Mrs. Morehead/Dowager in The Women, Nurse in Phaedra, and Anna in A Month in the Country (Antaeus Theatre); and Meg in The Birthday Party (Matrix Theatre).
