Amy Morton is an American actress and director, best known as Trudy Platt on two NBC series, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire. Other television credits include Amanda Harris on CBS' Blue Bloods, and Catherine Walsh on Starz' Boss.

Film credits include The Dilemma, Matadors, Up in the Air, The Greatest, 8MM, Falling Down, Rookie of the Year, Straight Talk, and Through Naked Eyes.

Amy is a two-time Tony Award nominee for her Broadway roles as Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe? (Booth Theatre) and Barbara Fordham in August: Osage County (Imperial/Music Box Theatres). Other theatre credits include her Broadway debut as Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Royale Theatre); and regionally, as Emma in Betrayal, Jane in The Unmentionables, Natalie in The Well-Appointed Room, Lorraine in Last of the Boys, Lyubov Andreyevna Ranevskaya in The Cherry Orchard, and The Homebody in Homebody/Kabul (Steppenwolf Theatre).
