Ally Sheedy is an American film and stage actress, as well as the author of two books. Following her film debut in Bad Boys, she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors in the films The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire. She is also known for her roles in WarGames, Short Circuit, and High Art. Other film credits include Sins of Our Youth, Chronicling a Crisis, Welcome to the Rileys, and Ten Stories Tall.

Television credits include Mr. Yang on USA's Psych, Sarah on ABC's Kyle XY, and Kristen on NBC's Hill Street Blues.

Theatre credits include her Broadway debut in Butterfly in The 24 Hour Plays 2005 (American Airlines Theatre); and Off-Broadway as the Mistress/Clarissa in Triptych (Irish Repertory Theatre); The Exonerated (Bleecker Street Theatre); Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Jane Street Theatre); and Missy in Advice from a Caterpillar (Lucille Lortel Theatre).
