Alan Alda

With 28 Emmy nominations, Alan Alda is the only person to be honored as top performer, writer and director. He is best known for his portrayal of Hawkeye Pierce on M*A*S*H, winning five Emmy Awards. Inducted into the Television Hall of Fame, Alan is also a multiple Award winner of Writer’s Guild —2, Director’s Guild—3, Golden Globe—6, and People’s Choice—7.

Alan has earned international acclaim for his portrayals in Art, Crimes and Misdemeanors, Everyone Says I Love You, Flirting With Disaster, Manhattan Murder Mystery, And the Band Played On, Mad City, Murder at 1600, The Object of My Affection, Same Time Next Year, and California Suite, as well as two Tony nominated performances in Jake’s Women and The Apple Tree.

Alan wrote and starred in The Seduction of Joe Tynan. He also wrote, directed and starred in The Four Seasons, Sweet Liberty, A New Life, and Betsy’s Wedding.
