Yeardley Smith

Yeardley Smith is a French–American actress, voice actress, writer, and comedian, known as Lisa Simpson on FOX's The Simpsons. Other television credits include Marlene on ABC's Dharma & Greg, Louise Fitzer on FOX's Herman's Head, and Louella on Showtime's Brothers.

Film credits include Offer and Compromise, Miles, Virginia, Waiting for Ophelia, The Simpsons Movie, As Good As It Gets, Just Write, We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story, Silence Like Glass, Ginger Ale Afternoon, and The Legend of Billy Jean.

Theatre credits include her Broadway debut as Debbie in The Real Thing (Plymouth Theatre); Off-Broadway, in Love, Loss, and What I Wore (Westside Theatre) and Yardley Smith: More (Union Square Theatre); and regionally, as Dr. Nancy Cott in 8 (Eugene O’Neill Theatre), Beth Washburn in Balancing Act (Falcon Theatre), Teddy Parker in The Debutante Ball (N.Y.
