
Joe Spano is an Emmy Award-winning actor, best known as Senior FBI Agent T. C. Fornell on CBS' NCIS, Detective John Clark Sr. on ABC's NYPD Blue, and Lieutenant Henry Goldblume on NBC's Hill Street Blues.
Film credits include Hart’s War, Primal Fear, Apollo 13, American Graffiti, Hollywoodland, Fracture, and Frost/Nixon.
Theatre credits include Joe's Broadway debut as Walter Franz in The Price (Criterion Center Stage); and regionally, as Marty in Better (Echo Theater), White in The Sunset Limited, Narrator 2 in The Tempest: Phase 1, and George in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Rubicon Theatre), Gene Dickel in How the World Began (South Coast Repertory), William Shakespeare in Equivocation (Geffen Playhouse), and Earl of Warwick/Smith the Weaver in Henry VI Part II, Speed in The Two Gentleman of Verona, and Macduff in Macbeth (Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre). He is a founding member of three theatre companies, including Berkeley Repertory.
