Geoffrey Arend is a series regular and directs for the hit CBS drama, Madam Secretary opposite Téa Leoni. He was also a series regular on ABC's drama Body of Proof for three seasons along with the TNT drama, Trust Me. Geoffrey has appeared in numerous other roles on television, beginning with the iconic animated series Daria, along with Judd Apatow's Undeclared. Arend got his start in a breakout role in the cult-stoner-comedy Super Troopers. Notable Features include a lead role in M. Night Shyamalan’s Devil for Universal, 500 Days of Summer opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel, Save The Date which premiered at Sundance with Allison Brie, Garden State, and The Ringer. Other animated work includes Angry Birds for Columbia Pictures and lead voices in MTV's Chicks On A Bench and Backspace for the Cartoon Network. Geoffrey’s New York stage credits include the Manhattan Theater Club's production of The American Pilot as well as the Public Theater's acclaimed production of Mother Courage and Her Children, in which he starred opposite Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline. He recently starred in two new plays in New York, The Rufu Equation at the Connelly Theatre and Colt Coeur's production of Everything is Ours at the Here Arts Center. A native New Yorker, Geoffrey is a graduate of New York City’s LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts. He studied acting at Carnegie Mellon, NYU Tisch, and RADA.
