Peter Sagal is an American playwright, screenwriter, and actor. He hosts the NPR game show, Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, as well as the PBS special, Constitution USA with Peter Sagal.
His play, Denial, received its New York premiere on the Lower East Side (Metropolitan Playhouse). Other plays include What to Say (Florida Stage), Game Theory (Silver Spring Stage), Mall America (Wind Dance Theatre), and Real Time (Seattle Repertory).
Sagal is the author of the book, The Book of Vice: Naughty Things (and How to Do Them), a series of essays about bad behavior. He also has a regular column about running equipment for Runner's World, and has completed the Chicago, New York, and Boston Marathons.
Sagal is a regular contributor to The New York Times Magazine's "True-Life Tales" column, beginning with a column entitled "He Goes Down Looking"; and has written for the Chicago Tribune and the Houston Chronicle.
