Larry Yando is an actor, best known as Scar in The Lion King (Walt Disney Theatrical Productions). A Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship recipient, honors also include Chicago Magazine’s Best Actor and DePaul University’s Excellence in the Arts Award.
JEFF Award-winning roles include Molina in Kiss of the Spider Woman (Pegasus Theatre), Pangloss in Candide (Goodman Theatre), Roy Cohn in both Angels in America: Perestroika and Angels in America: Millennium Approaches (Court Theatre), and Edgar in The Death of the Dance (Writers’ Theatre).
