Harry Shearer

Harry Shearer is an American actor, comedian, writer, voice actor, musician, author, radio host, director, and producer. He is known for his long-running roles on FOX's The Simpsons, his work on NBC's Saturday Night Live, and his radio program, Le Show.

Shearer directed the film, Teddy Bears' Picnic, and appeared in several films, including A Mighty WindFor Your ConsiderationThe Simpsons MovieThe Truman ShowGodzilla, Abbott and Costello Go to Mars, and The Robe.

Together with Michael McKean and Christopher Guest, they form the comedy band, Spinal Tap. Harry co-created, co-wrote, and co-starred in Rob Reiner's film, This Is Spinal Tap. Harry, Christopher, and Michael have since worked on several projects as their Spinal Tap characters, and have released the albums Break Like the Wind and Back From The Dead.

Shearer is also the author of the books Man Bites Town, Not Enough Indians, and It's the Stupidity, Stupid.
