Anna Ziegler is an Award-winning playwright and poet. Her play, Photograph 51, won the STAGE International Script Award for Best New Play About Science and Technology (Fountain Theatre/Ensemble Studio/Theater J). She was awarded grants from Tribeca Film Festival and the Sloan Foundation to adapt Photograph 51 into a screenplay. Rachel Weisz, Darren Aronofsky, Ari Handel, and Audrey Rosenberg are attached as producers.

Other works include the Edgerton Foundation New American Play Award recipient, Another Way Home, as well as A Delicate Ship, Dov and Ali, The Last Match, Boy, The Minotaur, BFF, Novel, Evening All Afternoon, and Life Science. 

Her plays are published by Dramatists Play Service, appear in New American Short Plays, and have been developed by Manhattan Theatre Club, New Group, Primary Stages, McCarter Theatre, and Sundance Theatre.
